Former Chelsea and Liverpool star set for QPR.
Former Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal midfielder Yossi Benayoun could be set to join Queens Park Rangers on trial, according to Sky Sports.
The Israeli international has also featured for West Ham in a glittering Premier League career, though he has been without a club since being released by Chelsea at the end of last season.
The 33-year-old could now be set to return to England in the Championship, with Rangers manager Harry Redknapp said to be happy to give Benayoun a trial at Loftus Road.
Redknapp admits no progress has been made on the move as of yet, but says he would be open to it if Benayoun arrives.
“Someone rang me about a week ago about him and I said I would be interested in having a look at him, but never heard no more,” Redknapp said.
