The 20-year-old currently plays for Dutch second division side De Graafschap and has apparently been on Paul Lambert’s radar for some time as he continues to scout Europe for undiscovered and affordable talent.

And the 6ft 2in tall hit man has been grabbing the headlines in the Netherlands as he has notched up 28 goals in 50 appearances for the club and has even appeared for the Polish national side at under-20 level.

However, they are not the only ones taking a closer look at what he can do as Portuguese side Benfica have also been keeping tabs on him lately and both clubs are believed to be readying bids to take him away from his current team.

Villa have also been linked with a move for PS V Eindhoven forward Jurgen Locadia, who himself stands at 6ft 3in, as they are thought to be expecting a move for star man Christian Benteke when the transfer window re-opens.
