Stamford Bridge starlet to stay in Belgium for remainder of the current campaign.
Chelsea are reportedly set to loan youngster Thorgan Hazard to Anderlecht in the January transfer window according to Belgian source HLN.
The 20 year old attacker, Eden’s younger brother, has spent the past 18 months on loan at Zulte Waregem and will move to reigning domestic title holders Anderlecht until the end of the current campaign.
Thorgan Hazard has proven a massive success back in his native Belgium, his efforts helping his side to a second place finish as he finished the season with ten assists.
This term the adaptable attacker has already contributed a dozen assists as well as ten goals and a move to continue his education in Brussels is a sensible decision given the raft of talent at Jose Mourinho’s disposal at Stamford Bridge.
Having seen fellow Belgian Kevin de Bruyne spend much of the season on the bench Thorgan Hazard is well aware that a return to the West London club would result in a lack of senior action.
Thorgan Hazard has already been capped at full international level and one wonders what the future holds for the player at Chelsea as well as his fellow countrymen Romelu Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois, who are away enjoying loan spells at Everton and Atletico Madrid respectively.
