The big spending principality side spent big last summer and look set to do so again as they look to keep up the pace with defending champions Paris Saint Germain next year.
Coach Claudio Ranieri has made a striker his top priority this summer after realising just how reliant his side have been on Radamel Falcao this season, and now that the Colombian has been ruled out for the season the Italian has been left with a shortage of options up front.

“The latest I’ve heard is that there’s interest from Monaco,” a Chelsea insider revealed.
“I think if Jose (Mourinho) makes some changes to the squad this summer, you’d think the striker department is where he’d start.
“If a good enough offer comes in, I think he’ll go, and Monaco may be more willing than some to pay a big fee for him.”
