Tottenham are looking to land Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford according to the Metro.

The 20 year old Blues striker moved to Stamford Bridge in January 2012 but is yet to play a senior fixture for the West London side but his form whilst out on loan has certainly helped attract a great deal of interest in his services.

Bamford netted 21 goals in 54 appearances for the MK Dons in two spells and is currently on loan at Derby County where he has scored five goals in eight matches for the Championship side.

The England Under 21 international may well struggle to get a look-in at Chelsea, after all the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Lucas Piazon are seen as back-up options for the future and Jose Mourinho has been linked with moves to bring in a big name forward this summer so a move away could well be the best option in terms of Bamford’s career progression.

White Hart Lane boss Tim Sherwood rates Bamford highly and will look to tempt the forward into considering a move from West to North London.
