Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o has distanced himself from claims that he is looking to leave Stamford Bridge by reaffirming his commitment to the club’s’ challenge for the Premier League title, according to Sky Sports.

The veteran striker has already notched up seven goals in 27 appearances for the west London club this season since signing a one-year £7m deal last summer.
And reports have recently suggested that the ex-Barcelona hit man is set to walk away from his deal in order to sign a longer contract with a club elsewhere.
But the 32-year-old has hit out at those rumours by insisting that he is only focussed on helping the club reclaim the Premier League title this year.
“False and degrading information has been published about me,” he said.
“I just want to remind to all that I have a tremendous love for Chelsea. I have a lot of respect for my leaders and teammates.
“I love Chelsea fans and I will keep on giving everything I have to defend the Blues.”
Chelsea are currently sat at the top of the Barclays Premier League and lead second placed Arsenal by a point, however, their main focus will be turned to the Champions League on Tuesday when they take on Turkish giants Galatasaray.
