This XI could line up for Tottenham today against Chelsea in the Premier League tie at Stamford Bridge…
GK) Hugo Lloris
Lloris is an automatic starter for Spurs when fit, and we don’t expect today to be any different.
DR) Kyle Walker
The Englishman is not at full fitness, but due to the importance of the fixture and the brilliance of Eden Hazard in the Blues lineup, Tim Sherwood will probably feel the need to field his best fullback. Walker though, will have to tame his attacking instincts.
DC) Michael Dawson
Dawson enjoyed a Man of the Match performance last time out against Cardiff, but will likely be in for a far trickier afternoon against Chelsea’s wealth of attackers.
DC) Jan Vertonghen
Vertonghen can play the ball out from the back, but will have to be careful that Samuel Eto’o isn’t given time to shoot in the penalty area.
DL) Kyle Naughton
With first-choice left-back Danny Rose unavailable, Naughton should continue to deputise, likely to be chosen ahead of Ezequiel Fryers.
