Spaniard does not “associate” with his other team-mates at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho is said to be furious with the poor attitude shown by misfiring front man Fernando Torres at Stamford Bridge this year, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The big-money Spain international, who cost the west Londoners a club-record £50m to sign from arch-rivals Liverpool back in January 2011 on a bumper £175,000-per-week five-and-a-half-year deal, is understood to have been unhappy at the departure of compatriot Juan Mata to Premier League champions back in the recent winter transfer window.

And with the pair close friends, Torres is believed to not now “associate” with the rest of the Chelsea squad members, while the 30-year-old has also only found the back of the net on two occasions since Mata joined the Red Devils for £37m in January.

As a result, the Special One has now requested the go ahead to offload the forward as soon as the summer transfer window reopens again for business at the start of July, although the west London club also recognise the fact that they will be forced to take a huge loss on the most expensive player in the history of the Premier League.
