Blues marksmen have collectively failed to hit the target this season.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is preparing to offload all three of his misfiring front men this summer, as well as the likes of star men Oscar and Eden Hazard too, in an attempt to raise the funds needed to buy two new strikers next season, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The west London club have already spent a net of £64m so far in this campaign, meaning that if the Blues do wish to press ahead with plans to radically reshape the team at the end of the season, then in order to still comply with Uefa’s Financial Fair Play Regulations they must offload one, or possibly even both, of their big-money playmakers when the transfer window reopens this summer.

However, what is not in doubt in the aftermath of Wednesday night’s 3-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Uefa Champions League quarter-final at the Parc des Princes is that fact that the Special One will be offloading Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto’o this summer.

And the attacking duo that the Portuguese is said to be targeting are Bayern Munich’s Mario Mandzukic and Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa.
