Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o is set to make his exit from the club this summer after holding talks with Turkish giants Besiktas, according to the Metro.

The 33-year-old’s contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the season, and has already established himself as the club’s top goalscorer this term with 12 goals.
However, despite Blues boss Jose Mourinho hinting that a new contract to keep him at the club beyond the summer could be in the offing, the Turkish giants are keen to snatch him up on a free transfer.
Besiktas are believed to have flown a team of representatives to London in order to hold negotiations with the veteran hit man, and have already offered him a two-year deal.
It’s not clear whether he would be keen on a move to Turkey, but the security of a 24 month contract as well as the possibility to join the coaching staff after would make the switch attractive.
Besiktas have close ties with the Stamford Bridge outfit and have already been trying to bag the signature of striker Demba Ba, having already made an approach for him during the January transfer window.
