Juventus hope to entice Chelsea midfielder away from Stamford Bridge with £20 million offer.
Juventus have made a £20 million bid to sign Ramires from Chelsea, according to the Daily Express.
The Brazil international is a dynamic presence in the Blues side, offering athleticism, power and tenacity in either an anchor position or as one of the three attacking midfielders behind a striker.
If the offer is accepted, there is a reasonable chance that Ramires could therefore only play one more game for Chelsea.
The 27 year-old is suspended for the remainder of the Premier League season, meaning that the second leg of his side’s UEFA Champions League semi-final at Stamford Bridge is the only definite fixture on his calendar.
If Jose Mourinho’s team reaches the final of the European cup, Ramires could of course be granted a further opportunity to play for the Blues.
Ramires is a useful player for Chelsea thanks to his impressive work rate and versatility, but has a poor disciplinary record, and his sale would allow Mourinho to add to his transfer budget.
