Stamford Bridge wide-man wins award.
Chelsea star Eden Hazard has won the 2013/14 PFA Young Player of the Year award after a consistent campaign for the Blues.
The 23 year old Belgian has been Jose Mourinho’s most dependable attacking weapon this term and is the club’s goal-scorer and assist maker, with 14 goals and seven assists to his name.
Hazard edged out Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge who finished second whilst Southampton teenager Luke Shaw was in third spot.
Mourinho will hope he can call upon Hazard for Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid having been sidelined since Chelsea’s win over PSG earlier this month.
