Again, a lively presence in attack when introduced by Wenger for the second half of extra time, with the experienced Czech Republic international very nearly creating a fourth for the Gunners with one of the last kicks of the match.
SUB: Jack Wilshere – 7
The young English playmaker, who is just back from his latest injury setback, took over from the tiring Ozil at the break in extra time, and then crucially managed to maintain possession of ball well for his team thereafter to close the match out.
