Chelsea are said to be lining up a move for FC Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala as they begin their search for Paris Saint Germain bound defender David Luiz, according to the Daily Star.

Luiz will likely wrap up his switch to the Ligue 1 champions over the coming week after the two clubs agreed a £50m fee over the weekend in a move that will see the Brazilian become the world’s most expensive defender.
And now Jose Mourinho is said to already be searching for his replacement and has identified the young French international as the ideal candidate.
And furthermore Mourinho is believed to be willing to cough up the £40m fee to his former club to secure his services.
Mangala recently claimed that he would be open to a move to the Premier League in the near future and has stated that Stamford Bridge would be his preference.

“In January, there were discussions with City, but it fell through because the two clubs could not reach an agreement. Every player wants to play in the biggest clubs.
