Islam Feruz, one of the hottest young prospects in the Chelsea youth system, has been made available for loan and there are numerous clubs interested in securing his signature for next season, reports the Daily Mail.

The 18-year-old, signed from Celtic in 2011, has been a key part of Chelsea’s Under 21 Premier League winning team last season. He is thought to have a very bright future at the club but Jose Mourinho would like him to gain first team experience elsewhere in the coming season.

There is no shortage of teams interested in taking in the talented youngster on loan, with the Championship a likely level for Feruz. The likes of play-off finalists Derby, recently relegated Cardiff and former Premier League side Reading have all been mentioned in connection with the striker.

Despite being born in Somalia, Feruz has caps for Scotland at a range of youth levels, having lived in Glasgow from an early age. However, earlier this year he turned down the chance to play for the full national team. He has previously suggested that he could turn out for any of Somalia, Tanzania or Zanzibar at international level, he could also, potentially play for England in the near future were ht to earn a call-up.
