Blues join chase for talented Dynamo Kiev star.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is keen to get his hands on the signing of £12m-rated Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko, according to the Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool back in the January transfer window before a move fell through late on, and the Reds could now be dealt a further blow as he may end up sealing a move to one of their title rivals.
Despite signing Egyptian youngster Mohamed Salah back in January, Chelsea are seemingly still keen to bring in new players in the wide positions, and have identified Yarmolenko as a player who could add something to their attacking options.
The Ukraine international scored an impressive 20 goals from out wide this season, and is rated as being is country’s biggest talent since former Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko, who established himself as one of the world’s best strikers during his time with AC Milan in the late 90s and early 00s.
A big move this summer would be no surprise for this rising star, and it could be that he will be lighting up the Premier League next season as Chelsea look to add him to their other impressive summer signings Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa.
