The 33-year-old looks set to be handed a free transfer by the west London club this month, and had originally been linked with a move to fellow Premier League giants Liverpool after being fazed out by Jose Mourinho in favour of Cesar Azpilicueta.
The left-back also missed out to Leighton Baines and Luke Shaw for a place in England boss Roy Hodgson’s World Cup squad.
However, despite the setbacks, the veteran England star is keen to bounce back and land himself a move to one of Europe’s biggest sides.
Reports from overseas are claiming that both AC Milan and Barcelona are keeping tabs on him as they look to rebuild their squads after disappointing campaigns in their own domestic leagues.

Cole has also been linked with big money moves to the USA and Australia, but he is not thought to be keen on the idea of retirement.
