Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel spent Tuesday night hanging out with One Direction singer Niall Horan.
Van Ginkel, 21, signed for the Blues last summer for a fee in the region of £8m, but he made just four first-team appearances before his season was cut short by a knee injury.
He is well and truly on the mend now and he seems to be in high spirits too, having enjoyed his night with 1D’s Niall.
We are not sure what brought the pair together, but Van Ginkel started to share the online love by posting the below image with the message: “Great to see you buddy! Thanks for last night @niallhoran.”
Niall responded with the following picture and the words: “Was good to see ya yesterday @marcovanginkel, thanks for coming down bro.”
