Atletico Madrid full-back is eager to seal his potential transfer to the Premier League with Chelsea after revealing that he has cut off all contact with the La Liga champions, according to the Daily Express.

The Blues have been on the Brazilian’s trail ever since deciding against offering a new deal to veteran defender Ashley Cole, who has now left the club.

And he Luis could become the third Atletico player that heads to Stamford Bridge after Jose Mourinho also hopes to bring striker Diego Costa and former midfielder Thiago to the club in the coming weeks.

Reports in Spain suggest that Luis is unhappy with his wage and wants to make the move to Stamford Bridge to boost his reputation and international chances.

He was left out of Brazil’s national side for the World Cup campaign this summer despite being one of the country’s top performers over the course of the campaign that saw him help Atletico secure the La Liga title.

The 28-year-old joined the club from the capital back in 2010 from fellow Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna and has since gone on to make over 130 appearances for the club.
