LVG to offload £27m flop after branding him ‘not good enough’

Louis Van Gaal has told Manchester United that they can look to sell Marouane Fellaini this summer as he does not believe the Belgian midfielder is good enough to be at the club, the Daily Mail reports.

Fellaini endured a disastrous first season with the club after following then manager David Moyes from Everton, though he has rescued his reputation somewhat thanks to some decent performances at the World Cup.

But it is understood that Van Gaal has told associates Fellaini is ‘not a United type of player’ and has instructed chief executive Ed Woodward to sell him before the season starts.
