The 23 year old has spent his entire professional career at La Liga side Real Sociedad and appears ready for a fresh challenge after rejecting a new contract offer from his Basque side.
Liverpool are thought to be keen on the French international but Chelsea will prove stiff competition in pursuit of the in-form £20m rated wide-man.
Griezmann was part of Didier Deschamps’s 2014 World Cup squad after a hugely successful season in Spain, during which he netted an impressive 16 La Liga goals, and is now said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
Arsenal had previously taken an interest in Griezmann but having signed Chilean Alexis Sanchez one imagines he is no longer a player Arsene Wenger is tracking.
One would have to wonder quite where Jose Mourinho would fit Griezmann into his first team starting eleven given he has the likes of Eden Hazard, Andre Schurrle, Willian and Mohamed Salah, among others, who fill wide-attacking berths.
Griezmann has made 201 appearances for Real Sociedad, scoring 52 goals in the process.
