The Parc des Princes side have long been linked with an interest in French national team captain Lloris and may feel that Mauricio Pochettino’s signing of the Swansea City man is a tacit admission that the club may feel they are unlikely to keep hold of Lloris after failing to secure a Champions League berth.
PSG have previously bid £16.5m for Lloris and boss Laurent Blanc appears ready to make a fresh offer for the 27 year old.
Lloris only recently signed a new five year Spurs contract but that may well not scare off PSG, who clearly have the funds to help persuade the Whit Hart Lane side to sell.
PSG may feel the need to bring in further reinforcements as they look to convert domestic triumphs into Champions League success.
