Ligue 1 star may choose Juventus over Liverpool.Liverpool could be set to miss out on the signing of £18m-rated Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi with reports that he would favour a move to Juventus, according to the Daily Express.
The Argentine international has been linked with a number of clubs this summer after looking likely to be shown the door by PSG following some inconsistent form since his arrival from Napoli in 2012.
The 29-year-old had been one of the stars of Serie A during his time at the Stadio San Paolo, but he has failed to replicaate that form in Ligue 1 and may now be heading back to Italy after it has emerged that he would be keen to sign for Juventus.
Lavezzi’s place in the PSG side may be further under threat as they look to bring in his fellow countryman Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid, and this had put Liverpool on alert as they sought an alternative to Loic Remy upfront, with Brendan Rodgers still looking for signings to help replace the recently departed Luis Suarez.
Juve have also been in the market for attacking players this summer, and have recently been linked with another PSG star in Adrien Rabiot.
