Everton broke their transfer record last month when they signed Belgium international striker Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea for a fee of £28m.
The 21-year-old was presented to Toffees fans ahead of Leon Osman’s testimonial match against FC Porto on Sunday.
Lukaku did not feature in the game, which finished 1-1.
Steven Naismith fired Everton ahead in the first half, before Jackson Martinez netted an equaliser after the break.
