Ghanaian international Christian Atsu joined the Blues from FC Porto a year ago and impressed during his loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem before taking part in the World Cup finals but a loan move to Everton has fallen through leaving Jose Mourinho at a loss as to what to do with the 22 year old.

Similarly Mourinho doesn’t appear to see Nigerian international Victor Moses as part of his long term plans and had hoped that his spell at Liverpool last season would act as an effective shop window for his talents, this didn’t prove to be the case.

If anything the 23 year old’s worth has diminished following an average spell at Anfield and now the Stamford Bridge side are struggling to find a buyer for the former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic man.

West Brom and Aston Villa are both interested in the wide-man but will only consider taking him on loan.
