Real Madrid midfielder Angel di Maria could cost the club as much as £50m
Although United have not yet ended their pursuit of the Argentine, Madrid will not be letting di Maria leave the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on the cheap.
According to the Sun Los Blancos head coach Carlo Ancelotti is open to letting the 26-year-old be sold, but it would set any potential suitor back £50m.
However, this shouldn’t pose too much of a problem for the 13-time Premier League winners with chief executive Ed Woodward declaring they have enough funds to break the world record.
