Danny Welbeck will not be joining Hull City
Steve Bruce has finally had to admit defeat in his pursuit of the England international after being told Welbeck will not be leaving Old Trafford, reports the Mirror.
With Javier Hernandez, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie already at the club it was thought van Gaal would be willing to let the 23-year-old leave.
However, it seems the Dutchman does have a place for Welbeck in his squad and the Tigers have instead turned their attentions to Lorient’s Vincent Aboubakar.
