Stamford Bridge and White Hart Lane outfits keen on Marseille youngster.
Chelsea are reportedly very keen on Marseille youngster Giannelli Imbula according to the Metro.
The 22 year old has greatly impressed since moving to the Stade Velodrome last summer and the defensive midfielder has been pretty much a virtual ever present for the south-coast side and with four years left on his Marseille contract it will apparently take a bid in the region of £25m to lure Imbula to London.
Jose Mourinho is not the only Premier League manager keen on Imbula, Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino also courts the former French Under 21 international.
Whilst clearly a move to Premier League table toppers Chelsea would tempt Imbula there is also the danger that first team football at Stamford Bridge could prove problematic given the raft of talents in Mourinho’s squad and as such an offer from White Hart Lane may be a more sensible one to consider.
Marseille currently sit top of Ligue 1 with new boss Marcelo Bielsa getting the most out of his L’OM recruits.
