The French Champions haven’t started the season as dominantly as the clubs Qatari owners would like and currently sit 4th in the table with 14 points from eight games.

With the talented squad that Blanc has available to him, PSG president Nassar Al-Khelaifi feels that the club should be in a better position to defend their title and are already considering alternatives should the Blanc’s side fail against the Spanish giants.

Roberto Mancini appears to be the favourite to take Blanc’s position should results not go the former Bordeux bosses way.

The Italian is currently available having left Turkish side Galatasaray in June and would bring a wealth of managerial experience to the Parc des Princes, having won Serie A three times with Inter Milan and winning the English Premier League with Manchester City in 2012.

Another possible candidate for the job is former AC Milan midfielder Leonardo as he is close to Al-Khelaifi and has always spoken of his desire to become a coach of a big club.
