Birmingham City starlet looks Anfield bound.
Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement with Birmingham City in their pursuit of youngster Demarai Gray according to the Birmingham Mail.
The 18 year old winger is considered one of the hottest prospects outside the Premier League and by all accounts Liverpool’s willingness to loan Jordan Ibe to the St Andrews’ side was predicated on the understanding that the two clubs had agreed a deal that would see Gray move to Merseyside.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is developing a reputation as a manager who is willing to trust to youth and this may well be aiding his push to sign top young players.
Over the summer Rodgers lured the likes of Emre Can, Divock Origi and Lazar Markovic to Liverpool and clearly he has helped to fashion Raheem Sterling into one of the most exciting young talents in world football.
Gray turned 18 in June but has already racked up 17 appearances for the Blues and has been capped at England Under 19 level.
