Serie A giants keen to rescue Germany international from Emirates Stadium nightmare.
Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski could be on his way out of the club during the January transfer window as Inter Milan line up a move to take him away from north London, the Daily Express reports.
The 29-year-old played just a bit part role in Germany’s World Cup triumph this summer, and has seen himself play the part of an unused substitute in four of the Gunners’ opening games this season.
He also failed to feature in Wednesday night’s Champions League victory.
Podolski recently said “If I don’t have this competition every weekend then a change must occur.”
And though Inter are said to be interested in bringing him on board in the new year, Arsene Wenger hit back with an opinion of his own.
“There is no transfer market at the moment. You are either on board or not on board,” he said.
Podolski now faces an uncertain future for the next three months and will likely attempt to push through a move should his situation not improve.
