Manchester United legend Paul Scholes agrees with Roy Hodgson’s opinion on Raheem Sterling
There was much controversy ahead of England’s Euro 2016 qualifier with Estonia on Sunday as Sterling did not start because he was tired.
Reports are that Rodgers thinks his players should have a two day break after an international match, but both Scholes and Hodgson disagree with this sentiment.
“If you are 19 years old like Raheem Sterling, or even 25 years old like Daniel Sturridge, you do not need a two-day recovery after playing a game,” the former midfielder wrote in the Independent.
