Daley Blind says things have gone ‘crazy’ since joining United
The Netherlands international completed a £13.8m switch from Ajax over the summer and since then everything has changed for the reigning Dutch Footballer of the Year.
Blind has been instrumental in any success van Gaal’s side have had so far this season, but it is the fame that has surprised the 24-year-old the most.
“I was always used to some attention from the fans but, suddenly, this was crazy. My Twitter and Instagram accounts just exploded the moment I signed for United,” the midfielder was quoted by the Sun.
