Galatasaray have risked the wrath of UEFA again, after their fans threw flares onto Borussia Dortmund’s pitch during Tuesday evening’s Champions League clash, reports Turkish Football.
Dortmund won the match 4-1, but it was overshadowed by the occurrences of 52nd minute, which you can see below.
After the German side were awarded a corner, Galatasaray supporters launched the flares onto the playing field, forcing the referee to halt the game.
Star players Selçuk Inan and Felipe Melo urged fans to stop hurling the missiles, but further flares were let off in the stands before the match ended.
UEFA has yet to issue a statement, but fined the Turks earlier in the competition when flares were let off at the Emirates during the fixture with Arsenal.
