Premier League sides monitoring the progress of Fulham winger George Williams.
Premier League sides including bitter North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the progress of young Fulham winger George Williams ahead of a potential January move, report the Daily Star, as the teenager continues to make waves in the Championship with his club.
Williams, along with teammate and fellow prospect Patrick Roberts, is on the fringes of Kit Symons’ first team at Craven Cottage, but he is already a full Welsh international and played a key part in the Cottagers’ thrilling run to the FA Youth Cup final last season before they were narrowly edged out by Chelsea.
The 19 year-old has already moved once in his short career, arriving in West London from League One club MK Dons, where he had caught the eye as the youngster player to score in the proper rounds of the FA Cup, bagging against non-league outfit Nantwich Town at Stadium:MK.
His rise to prominence could be set to continue, it would seem, with Everton and West Ham United joining the North London clubs in holding a serious interest in Williams, who could well be a hot property as soon as the transfer window reopens in January.
