The 25 year old German international seems likely to leave his Westfalenstadion side after their truly appalling start to the Bundesliga season and Jose Mourinho will look to tempt Jurgen Klopp into selling the attacker by offering World Cup winner Andre Schurrle as part of an exchange deal.

Mourinho wants to bring in Reus in January and though Borussia Dortmund sit way down in 15th place in the Bundelsiga table the German side have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League and as such the cultured forward may wish to stick around until the summer.

Reus has been a big hit since moving to Dortmund in the summer of 2012 though his side have fallen way off domestic rivals Bayern Munich over the period of his stay at the club.

Schurrle has had an up and down time of it since moving to west London and could be open to a move back to his native Germany.
