See the Southampton star whose Gunners move seems to be moving ever closer.
Morgan Schneiderlin has been a key player for Southampton as their sensational start to the season has continued.
The French midfielder looked on the verge of leaving St Mary’s in the summer, after his former boss Mauricio Pochettino tried to sign him for £20m.
Initially Schneiderlin looked as though he would refuse to play to force a move, but since then he has knuckled down and put in some great performances that will only heighten interested in him.
Arsenal’s desperate need for a powerful midfielder like the Frenchman has lead to constant links with Schneiderlin, and his recent quotes imply that that move is still very much on.
“We’ll see at the end of the season if [a transfer] will happen. If we have qualified for the Champions League, I will make the choice,” Goal quote the player as saying.
It seems as though even if Southampton do make the top four, the French international will still possibly be looking for a way out, and with his contract starting to run down, a Gunners move for the £25m rated star in January looks like a definite possibility.
