Victor Valdes closes in on Old Trafford switch
Having almost completed his rehabilitation from a cruciate ligament injury the goalkeeper has revealed he is close to returning to competitive action.
Valdes has been a free agent since leaving Barcelona over the summer and Louis van Gaal has been allowing the Spaniard to train with his squad.
Now the 32-year-old could make that move permanent as concern grows over the capabilities of backup ‘keepers Ben Amos and Anders Lindegaard, according to the Daily Express.
