The troubled forward is desperate for a way out of the Emirates.
Reports in German paper Bild say that Arsenal have reduced Lukas Podolski’s asking price.
The Gunners are now asking for only €5m for the attacker, a meagre sum for a recent World Cup winner with a 18 months left on his contract.
The decision shows the desperation to get rid of Podolski that is currently possessing the Arsenal camp. He has been linked with Italian sides including Inter and Fiorentina in recent days, alongside rumoured moves back to Germany.
The arrival of Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez in the summer have meant that Podolski has barely played this season, despite Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil picking up serious injuries.
The German attacker looks almost certain to leave either in January, or in the summer at the latest. The move will conclude a disappointing stay in England for the left-footer, who has had flashes of brilliance in an underwhelming spell on these shores.
This is all too familiar for Podolski, who had the same experience when he moved to Bayern Munich earlier in his career.
Arsenal have been linked with various replacements for the German, including Balde Keita and Paulo Dybala.
