There are a number of players in the current crop of Arsenal youngsters who already look ready to make the step up to the senior squad, with three names in particular standing out.

Here are the top three players in Arsenal’s youth system who deserve first team football this season:
3) Benik Afobe
21-year-old Afobe has looked like a bright prospect at Arsenal for years, but he has really made a statement of intent this season.
Currently on loan at MK Dons, the striker has scored 15 goals in 20 appearances so far, including a brace against Manchester United in the Capital One Cup.
If this showing doesn’t convince Arsene Wenger that he is capable of stepping up then the youngster probably won’t ever make it at Arsenal.
