The sought-after Frenchman’s agent has revealed the demand for his client’s services last summer.
Paul Pogba is one of the world’s best midfielders, and has been linked with all manner of clubs, especially in the Premier League, in the last few seasons.
One of those clubs now known to have made a bid for Pogba is Chelsea, as the midfielder’s agent Mino Raiola has revealed:
Agent Mino Raiola:”Pogba is happy at Juve, they turned down big offers for him last summer” including Chelsea….

It is not known whether this bid was made before or after Cesc Fabregas signed for the Blues.
Chelsea are in red-hot form this season, and don’t currently look like they need Pogba. Jose Mourinho, like all good managers, is always looking for ways to improve his side and Pogba, if available, would certainly do that.
While Raiola insists the Frenchman is happy in Turin, and the midfielder’s new deal at Juve makes a move in the next year look unlikely; as ever in the world of football, things can change very quickly.
The dynamic midfielder scored twice for Juventus against Lazio at the weekend, winning plaudits in the press for his impressive performance.
