Stamford Bridge side chase Ipswich Town starlet.
Chelsea will battle Arsenal and Crystal Palace in pursuit of Ipswich Town defender Tyrone Mings according to the Daily Mail.
The 21 year old Championship star has impressed many watching scouts this term and by all accounts Arsene Wenger is readying a January bid for the Portman Road youngster though Jose Mourinho will look to win the race to bring in the £10m rated left-back.
Jose Mourinho may well be looking to build for the future and a move for Mings would also help to boost the west London side’s ‘homegrown’ compliment whilst Wenger apparently feels Mings can be converted into a centre-back.
Mings cost the Tractor Boys just £10k when they signed him from Chippenham Town and Mick McCarthy’s side would appear to be keen on making a massive profit on that outlay but would presumably look to keep hold of the player for the remainder of the current campaign as the East Anglian side push for promotion to the Premier League.
