The Egyptian international moved to Stamford Bridge in January in an £11m deal but has barely had a look-in with the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian, Oscar and Andre Schurrle ahead of him in the Blues pecking order.
A move to the San Siro side may tempt the former FC Basel man though Sunderland and Atletico Madrid are also keen on the attacker.
Salah started six Premier League fixtures last term, and scored twice, but hasn’t started a single English top tier fixture during the current campaign and Mourinho may be open to sending him out to garner some experience or to act as a shop window if he no longer feels the player is likely to make the grade at the west London club.
