Anfield side chase San Siro youngster.
Liverpool are reportedly keen on AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy with the Serie A side ready to sell the youngster according to the Metro.
The San Siro side are ready to sell the 22 year old as they seek to garner funds for new additions and will make the Italian international available for as little as £11.5m.
El Shaarawy has struggled with form and fitness since he bagged 16 goals in AC Milan’s 2012/13 campaign and clearly Brendan Rodgers is looking for fresh striking options with summer captures Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert both failing to impress and Daniel Sturridge suffering with injury concerns.
Rodgers is known for his willingness to trust to youth and may feel that a move for El Shaarawy is a wise one to consider in January.
Stephan El Shaarawy has managed just one goals in 12 Serie A appearances this term but is certainly a player with a great deal of raw potential.
