Tottenham transfer news news
Spurs are known to be keen on improving in a number of areas in their squad this January, with manager Mauricio Pochettino seemingly chasing improvements in the middle of the park.
The England international could be a superb option for the north London side, with Villa looking increasingly likely to lose the player as he approaches the end of his contract and looks no closer to renewing his deal with the Midlands club.
Delph’s fine form has also attracted recent interest from Liverpool, but with the Reds perhaps focusing their efforts on Manchester City’s versatile midfielder James Milner instead, Tottenham could be able to pounce.
Tottenham have also long been linked with a move for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, but may be targeting Delph due to Arsenal’s growing interest in the Frenchman.
