Promising youngster on the move this January.
Chelsea look set to see Marco van Ginkel return to the club this January after a disappointing loan spell with AC Milan is expected to be cut short, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Dutch youngster has struggled since his move to Stamford Bridge, missing most of last season through injury and failing to find top form in a temporary spell at the San Siro this term.
Although van Ginkel is a highly regarded talent, his future looks uncertain this winter as he seems unlikely to walk straight into the Chelsea team if he does seal a return to the club.
Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic have proved to be a superb midfield combination for the Blues this season, while the likes of Ramires and John Obi Mikel are also options for Jose Mourinho as backup.
Chelsea had hoped the 22-year-old would benefit from more playing time at Milan, but he has failed to impress Filippo Inzaghi.
