Schurrle cost Chelsea £18m in June 2013 and the versatile attacker initially impressed last season but is little more than a bit-part player this term with Willian having gotten the nod to fill the berth on the right hand side of the Blues attack.

Reus appears to be edging towards a Westfalenstadion exit with Dortmund sitting in the Bundesliga relegation zone and should his release clause be met one imagines the attacker will certainly consider his options.

There should be no shortage of interest in Schurrle either with the former Bayer Leverkusen man impressing when called upon for both club and country, the 24 year old having put in a good series of cameo displays at the 2014 World Cup finals.
