Whilst the 26 year old has been in good form and has the potential to make an impact in the Premier League it seems highly unlikely any side would pay such a fee for Deeney.

Liberty Stadium boss Garry Monk is likely to sold Wilfried Bony sold to Man City in a deal worth £28m but even then he is not going to use up half those funds on a player with no Premier League experience.

One imagines West Brom’s interest would you only be relevant if Tony Pulis elected to cash-in on top-scorer Saido Berahino, and even then the Baggies boss won’t meet Watford’s valuation.

Deeney netted 25 goals last term and has already racked up nine Championship efforts this term as he looks to help his Vicarage Road side into the Premier League.
