The teams are in ahead of this afternoon’s Premier League game between Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland at White Hart Lane…
New Sunderland signing Jermain Defoe starts against his former side.
Spurs will be worried about Defoe, who recently trained with their development team. That’s because the 32-year-old has scored on his debut for all five of his previous clubs.
Defoe is not the only player who will lineup against his former team.
Danny Rose, who spent the 2012-13 season on loan at Sunderland, is in Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham XI.
Roberto Soldado starts up front for Spurs, with Harry Kane playing behind him. Emmanuel Adebayor is on the bench.
