Chelsea’s Diego Costa labelled as a “thug” by Times reporter Tony Barrett.
Chelsea striker Diego Costa looks set to be handed a three match-ban following an apparent stamp on Liverpool’s Emre Can which has led to much discussion around the nation, with Tony Barrett from the Times taking an exception to the forwards behaviour.
These incidents have become synonymous with Costa this season following incidents involving John O’Shea and Wes Brown – in which the Spaniard was lucky to escape punishment.

Tony Barrett has decided to offer his thoughts regarding Chelsea’s controversial forward, clarifying that despite Costa’s obvious character deficiencies – he still remains a world-class player.
